Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

At TechWish, we firmly believe that everyone, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, orientation, or physical ability, has the potential to make a difference in the world. An equal opportunity employer, TechWish is committed to upholding this view by fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where people from different backgrounds, beliefs, and identities are welcomed and valued, and are given the opportunity to build a career.

Our human resources team is dedicated to assisting professionals from all walks of life in becoming an integral part of TechWish. We strive to create an environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and innovation, where every team member can thrive and contribute their unique perspectives and skills.

We recognize that diversity brings strength to our organization and are committed to providing equal opportunities for all our employees to grow and excel in their careers. We celebrate our differences and embrace the rich diversity of our workforce, as we believe that our collective experiences, perspectives, and talents drive our success.

The scope of our DEI policies includes:

  • Acknowledge and celebrate the fact that people come from different backgrounds.
  • Encourage global talent irrespective of ethnicity, physical ability, orientation, gender, financial status, etc.
and make them feel valued, respected, included, and engaged.
  • Comply with government rules and regulations in the jurisdiction we operate in.
  • Define an unbiased and neutral approach in the performance review process, employee code of conduct, etc.
  • Create a grievance procedure that includes diverse members across different levels of the organization.
  • Avoid barriers and glass ceilings to encourage gender parity in the top positions of the organization.
  • Conduct workshops and orientation programs for employees on diversity and inclusion periodically so that they can reflect upon their behavior and value the importance of being inclusive at work.
  • Continuously monitor the application of DEI policy and amend it as per the needs and benefit of everyone.
For an organization to excel in implementing DEI policies, everyone in the organization needs to be part of the process. Every person in the organization must be engaged: employees as well as the employers. We emphasize and empower the roles of leaders and employees in implementing our DEI policies, and in taking action when a policy is violated.

Role of an Employee

As an employee of an organization, it is essential to attend the awareness workshops conducted by the organization to prepare oneself from biases and prejudices. Respecting the diversity and perspective of everyone in the organization and not engaging in any form of harassment, bullying, and discrimination directly or indirectly is very important. Maintaining a neutral stand and not judging people based on their gender, color, ethnicity, or orientation creates a step forward in an inclusive and equitable workplace.

Role of a Leader

As a leader, one has to manage different types of people, so maintaining a neutral and unbiased approach in employment decisions, performance reviews, and workshop interaction is imperative. Taking DEI practices seriously by educating and encouraging teams to be inclusive and accommodating to people with diverse backgrounds should be prioritized, not considered a cost-generating mechanism.

Violation Reporting

Employees are encouraged to report violations of any DEI policies. Any violation is viewed seriously, and an inquiry must be initiated. Care is taken to ensure a fair, unbiased, and confidential investigation. If an employee is found to have violated the policy, they will be liable for disciplinary action, including termination of employment.
